Nature Therapy, or ecotherapy, complements counselling by integrating the natural environment into therapeutic practices to further enhance mental and physical well-being. It promotes emotional awareness, mindfulness, and physical health through activities like walking/hiking, somatic experiencing, and sensory awareness through natural landscapes. Nature Therapy uses Nature as a teacher, as a mentor, and as a reflector to promote personal growth, stress reduction, and relational skills, making it a powerful complement to clinical counselling in improving overall wellbeing.

I believe difficult thoughts, emotions, and actions are the imbalance of life’s practice. Each of us have a set of unique needs that must be met to align with our best-selves. Often, we are needing to sit with life’s challenges, stressors, and discomforts to see what is asking for change.

In our time together, we explore patterns of thoughts, emotions, and actions that get in the way of your ideal-self and develop skills to confront these challenges. We then outline which patterns are impacting your well-being and create a road map that aligns with the person you wish to be.
